Oil, Gas and Infrastructure Exhibition in Aktau
The main event of Western Kazakhstan will be held in Aktau, on November 11-13, 2014 – the 9th Mangystau Regional Oil, Gas and Infrastructure Exhibition, which will present more than 50 companies from Ireland, Italy, China, Kazakhstan and Russia.
Among the key participants are MangystauMunayGas JSC, Maersk Oil Kazakhstan, Tengizchevroil, ANEC, Prikaspiyskiy Certification Centre, Ozenmunaygas JSC, Karazhanbasmunay JSC, Kazmortransflot, Morport Akatau, and many others.
The sections of the Exhibition present modern developments in the fields of geology and geophysics, oilfield services, energy efficiency growth, implementation of environmental projects and programs.
This year, within the framework of the Exhibition a special attention is drawn to the round table on the topic "Oil Processing and Petrochemicals, Innovations in Oil Refining Industry", which will be held on November 11. The organizers of the round table are the Exhibition Company ITECA together with KazMunayGas – Refining and Marketing JSC. The discussion will touch upon emerging issues, relating to the projects for the modernization of oil refineries. The main speakers will be the Managing Director – Director of the Department for Management of Modernization Project for Petroleum Refineries of KazMunayGas – Refining and Marketing JSC, Kadyrberdi Elevsinov and Chief Engineer of Caspi Bitum JV Aktau bitumen plant Arman Tohbaev.
On November 12 journalists held a press tour at LLP "JV Caspi Bitum" (Aktau bitumen plant). The program of the tour visiting the central laboratory, operator's station, block ELOU- AVT and oxidation block modifying bitumen plant packaging, storage and transportation.
The Akimat of Mangistau Region also holds the exhibition round table on the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the city of Zhanaozen, jointly with Ozenmunaygas JSC.
The organizers of the present event are the Kazakhstan Exhibition Company Iteca together with the ITE Group. High importance of the Exhibition is confirmed with the official support provided by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mangystau Region Administration, and National Company KazMunayGas JSC.
The City of Aktau is considered to be the sea gate of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Aktau is not just the centre of a big region; it is its energetic heart. The best Diasporas of scientists, chemists, builders, oil industry workers and biologists live and work in this city and the underground storage of the entire region of Mangystau is unique. Reserves of mineral raw materials in terms of their diversity, reservoir thickness and ease of engineering have few or no analogues in the global geology. The oil and gas industry can be called a locomotive of the whole socio-economic sphere of the region. Today, six dozens of oil and gas fields are known in the territory of the region.
The Mangystau Oil, Gas and Infrastructure 2014 will be located in the Grand Nur Plaza Hotel & Convention Centre (micro-district 29A). The Exhibition is open for visitors on November 11 and 12, from 10:00 to 18:00, and on November 13, from 10:00 to 16:00. Admission is free!
