Mangystau Oil & Gas 2011 celebrating 50 years of Mangystau oil

On 1-3 November, Aktau will host two specialised regional expo events: Mangystau Oil & Gas 2011, and OilTech Mangystau 2011. They will be held at the Grand Nur Plaza Hotel & Convention Centre.

The exhibitors at Mangystau Oil & Gas will include 70 companies from China, Germany, Kazakhstan, Russia and UAE. The events are organised by the Kazakhstani exhibition company Iteca, together with its international partners from the United Kingdom and Russia.

Of the exhibitors, the oil production companies deserve a special mention - for instance, KazMunaiGas Exploration & Production JSC with its subsidiaries OzenMunaiGas and KarazhanbasMunai, as well as Mangystau MunaiGas JSC and Shell.

The exhibitors also include service providers in the oil and gas industry, and suppliers of oil and gas equipment, special clothing and environmental protection technologies. Among the major suppliers of oil and gas equipment, and service providers are such companies as JSC “Explorationa and Production KazMunayGas with their production filials “OzenMunayGas” and “KarazhanbasMunay”, also JSC “MangystauMunayGas”, petroleum concern “Shell Kazakhstan Development B.V.” and “Maersk Oil Kazakhstan GmbH".

The exhibition’s business programme will include seminar by Saint-Gobain Construction Products Kazakhstan on the following topic: Concept of Passive House construction as energy-efficient and autonomous solution for new construction and renovation.

The importance of the exhibition and conference is enhanced by official support from the Ministry of Oil and Gas of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mangystau Region and Aktau City Administrations, and KazMunaiGas Exploration & Production JSC.

The OilTech Mangystau 2011 technology conference will be held on 1-2 November, a few floors above the exhibition, in the conference room of the Grand Nur Plaza Hotel & Convention Centre. Lyazzat Kiinov – Vice Minister of Oil and Gas of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nurlan Sauranbayev – Vice Minister of Industry and New Technology of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Krymbek Kusherbayev, Mayor of Mangystau Region will open the Conference. The Conference will be attended by 100 delegates, who will listen and discuss the speeches of more than 30 speakers. The speakers include eminent figures, such as: Amankeldi Aitkulov – First Deputy of Governor of Mangystau Region; Vladimir Miroshnikov – First Deputy General Director of KazMunaiGas Exploration & Production JSC , David Moran – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan; Gaziz Kusayin – General Director, TenizService; Askar Nurgaliyev – Chairman of the Board, CASPIY SRC National Company; Chris Renwik – General Director, Lloyd’s Register Kazakhstan; and others.
